Kahoot

Room 8 learnt a new game called Kahoot. It is a quiz where the children all compete against each other. Here is a snap shot of the excitement and competitive natures it brought out in the Kidd-li-winks.

We have been mixing up words in our writing like through and threw so our quiz was about those tricky words that sound the same but have different meanings. Here are a couple of examples of the quiz questions.

You can create your own Kahoot quiz at https://getkahoot.com/. There are also thousands of ready made quizzes you can play. Check it out.

I wonder what our next quiz will be about?
What do you need to learn or get better at?
Give me some ideas and I will create a quiz for us to play.

Congratulations to George and Ruby L for being the first winners of Kahoot in Room 8.

Thank you to Mrs Roil for teaching me (Mrs H) about Kahoot. It is another fun way to learn.
