One of the learning tasks on the 'Can do' list was to create a dream house or a zoo using blocks and pic collage. The Kidd-li-winks had to use multiplication to work out the area of each room or enclosure.
The children used repeated addition to solve the problems
eg. 4x4= 4+4+4+4=16

I really like the dream homes and the zoo! Clever calculating to work out the area kidd-li-winks. I love your dream home Tom....imagine having a helicopter pad and video game room!!!
