A big thank you to Mrs Morton, Mrs Coombs, Mrs Hansen and Mrs Morgan who gave up their time to help us get ready for Market Day. It wouldn't have been such a success without you.

Thank you to Zane's Mum and Dad for supplying us with the freshest vegetables for our Butter Vegetable. They were delicious. You can find their yummy vegetable shop on Havelock Road just behind Parkvale. Highly recommended by me.

Henna Hands

The Kidd-li-winks created henna hand art of help celebrate Market Day.
Henna is painted on the hands or body for special occasions like Diwali.

Henna comes from the leaves of a henna plant.

We mixed together some of our own patterns and traditional henna patterns to create our art work.

Advertising

We have been learning about advertising and how it persuades people to buy products.

We thought about all the ways other people advertise and we each chose how we would like to advertise our Butter Vegetable with our little buddies from Room 2.

Here is some of our advertising.
We are quite proud of our advertising campaign.

You will notice our logo on our advertising around the school
